Dr. Freeman is a native of Poquoson. A second generation dentist; his father Dr. Gerald Q. Freeman Sr. practiced in Hampton for many years.
After graduating from Poquoson High School, he attended The University of Richmond for his undergraduate degree. He then entered VCU-MCV School of Dentistry, graduating in 1981. Professionally, Dr. Freeman is a member of The American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental Association, and The Peninsula Dental Society.
His dental philosophy is conservative therapy best applied with thorough education and understanding from the patient's perspective; for the patient's best possible long term outcome. Do what is needed....do it well....practice prevention....and make it last!
Dr. Freeman enjoys dentistry and has never regretted his choice of career. "I love to work with kids, making it as fun as possible. Older individuals as patients give me so much in return with their experience and acquired knowledge. I learn something new everyday!"
Dr. Freeman and his wife Karen have four grown children and five grandchildren. Always doing something, somewhere with somebody!
